During the launch, a representative from Afrimoney emphasized the company’s commitment to innovation and excellence, highlighting the card’s role in transforming Sierra Leone’s fintech sector.
“With the Afrimoney Pyypl Visa Card, users can enjoy seamless transactions, including contactless payments in stores and online, with real-time notifications for every transfer,” the representative stated.
Minister of Communications Technology and Innovation, Salima Monorma Bah, praised the initiative as a significant step forward for mobile banking in Sierra Leone, emphasizing its role in making financial services accessible and convenient for all citizens.
Martison Obeng Agyei, Managing Director of Afrimoney, expressed gratitude for the support and highlighted the card’s potential to bridge financial gaps and empower users across the globe.
