BnB CashApp, a leading platform for cross-border payments and digital financial services, has formed a new partnership with Vickie Remoe, a multimedia producer and entrepreneur. Remoe has been appointed Sierra Leone’s official brand ambassador, leading efforts to increase financial inclusion and simplify how Sierra Leoneans at home and abroad send, receive, and manage money.

Remoe, who gained a large audience with the “Vickie Remoe Show” and has a track record of promoting African business growth, was chosen for her credibility and deep ties to the Sierra Leonean community. Aaron Desire, BnB’s Director of Digital Marketing, praised her efforts to spread national stories and connect people across the continent. “Vickie Remoe is a bridge builder,” Desire stated. “Her commitment to telling the Sierra Leonean story, as well as her influence across the continent, makes her the ideal partner to assist us in providing our users with faster, cheaper, and more secure financial tools.”

The collaboration will launch a series of education and outreach initiatives to demystify digital finance for everyday consumers, entrepreneurs, and families. BnB and Remoe intend to establish the app as a trusted household solution for remittances, business payments, and personal money management in the Salone community through multimedia campaigns, community engagement events, and targeted educational programs.

Remoe emphasised that the collaboration is consistent with her broader mission to accelerate Sierra Leone’s digital transformation and economic empowerment. Speaking as she left Freetown for Accra, she stated that the initiative goes beyond remittances. “At the core of everything I do is a dedication to Sierra Leone’s digital transformation and economic empowerment. Partnering with BnB is a logical extension of that mission. We’re not just making it easier for the diaspora to send money home; we’re also streamlining how our local entrepreneurs and families can participate in the global economy.”
She also stated that combining her platform with BnB’s technology will reduce friction in financial mobility and increase trust in modern payment solutions. “This partnership is about trust, speed, and building a bridge that ensures every Leone contributes to our collective growth,” Remoe explained. With her as the public face of BnB CashApp in Sierra Leone, the company hopes to accelerate the adoption of secure, affordable, and user-friendly financial services throughout the country and the diaspora.
