Usual credible source close to the Sierra Leone Immigration Office has intimated this medium that there are a plethora of Immigration Frauds at the Chinese Mining Company, Leone Rock, formerly China Kingho.

Leone Rock was a former China Kingho that was dished one of the iron ore deposits in the Tonkolili Hills for a pittance.

Recently, the company was also given the contract to manage the ports and rail in Sierra Leone, for which so many other companies operating the ports and rail to ship their goods are feeling the impact of the Chinese Monopoly of Sierra Leone Iron Ore.

According to the report, Leone Rock is currently in breach of Sierra Leone’s Immigration Law, as they had embarked on several immigration irregularities, which include duplicity and non-payment of fees to Sierra Leone, causing the government to lose billions of Leones.

Furthermore, some of the staff brought from China lack the requisite qualifications for the jobs which they have been brought for.

Leone Rock has also refused to allow local workers to form a Union that will advocate for their welfare, as currently, the Sierra Leoneans working there are paid pittance, while unqualified Chinese workers get better salaries and better conditions of service.

Several efforts by the staff to get a Union have been bastardized by the company, with the Ministry of Labor being accused of complicity.

Officials of Leone Rock said that they would respond.
