During the holy month of Ramadan and Lent, Sheikh Alhaji Mohamed “Omodu” Kamara, also known as Jagaban, donated 444 bags of rice to the All People’s Congress (APC) in Sierra Leone’s Eastern Region. This charitable act will benefit the communities of Kenema, Kailahun, and Kono districts, demonstrating the party’s dedication to supporting its members and constituents.
Jagaban was greeted warmly and enthusiastically, with APC Kenema Secretary-General Prince Bindi taking the opportunity to introduce him. He emphasised that this donation represents unity and shared progress within the party. Mr. Enssah Jajua, Kailahun District Chairman, praised Jagaban’s unwavering commitment to development, calling him a beacon of hope and the best candidate for the APC flagbearer position.
In a show of solidarity, Kenema District Chairman Prince Kamara praised Jagaban’s visionary leadership and urged party members to support his cause for a brighter future for Sierra Leone. Mr. Ramie Saad, Global Coordinator, energised the crowd with a spirited chant: “Aaa Ppp Ccc!” “APC Returns to Power!”
Mr. Sullivan Kallon, National Coordinator, spoke passionately about the importance of the donation, especially during this sacred season, and warned against politicians who only reach out to the people during election season. He asserted that Sierra Leone deserves genuine leadership, not empty promises. Madam Bintu Suma, Regional Chairlady, expressed her profound appreciation for Jagaban’s dedication to the APC family. The event concluded in a celebratory atmosphere, with the APC Anthem echoing throughout the venue, representing an unstoppable movement towards excellence and collective progress.
