Iranian Company to Establish Factories in Sierra Leone

The President and Chief Executive Officer of Iranian-based Company Arman Tejarat Sabz Saei-Farhad Torabi has expressed a keen interest in expanding operations in the West African Country of Sierra Leone.

Farhad Torabi was speaking in a meeting with the Sierra Leone Ambassador to Iran, Alie Badara Kamara who welcomed the idea as a very smart choice for many reasons. He said the Country has a vast land with possible raw materials to power industrial chains, labour is in abundance etc. When established, the factory will focus on the Food Industry, Building Design and Materials, Cosmetics, machinery, Spare parts and consumables etc. Torabi said the company has a lot of experience in overseas investments and their greatest assets are young and motivated engineers ready to showcase the Sierra Leonean market to the world. The Company currently operate in several African Countries with over fifty different Companies producing materials, tea, Soap and Shampoo, Tiles, Iron Rod etc. According to Farhad Torabi, a technical team has already been in the country to do feasibility studies around their investments and so far it is looking good.

They are putting a team of experts in Sierra Leone in close collaboration with the Iranian embassy in Sierra Leone, he continued. Ambassador Alie Badara Kamara encouraged them to not waste any more time as Sierra Leone is one of the best places on the Continent to invest. The country is open to serious investors who will create jobs for the people of Sierra Leone thereby growing the economy of the State.
