Sierra Leone’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Timothy Musa Kabba, has arrived in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, to attend a Ministerial Conference, scheduled to take place in Riyadh on the 8th of November, 2023.

The Ministerial Conference of Arab-African Foreign Ministers precedes the 5th Arab-African Summit of November 11, 2023, in Riyadh, which will be attended by Arab leaders and African Heads of State.

Saudi Arabia is also hosting the first Saudi-Africa Summit on November 10, 2023.

The fifth Arab-African Summit is being hosted in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for the first time in history, after Egypt, Libya, Equatorial Guinea, and Kuwait.

During his stay in Riyadh, the Foreign Minister is expected to sign a Memorandum of Understanding with his Saudi counterpart on “Political Consultations” and a General Cooperation Agreement, aimed at promoting cooperation between the two countries in the areas of trade, investment, education, science, culture, tourism, sports and the economy, among others.

The Foreign Minister was received by the Head of Mission, Ambassador Dr Ibrahim Jalloh, and a cross-section of staff of the Sierra Leone Embassy in Saudi Arabia.
