AYV CEO Recognized by Bar Association for Promoting Justice Through Journalism

Ambassador Anthony Navo Jr., the Chief Executive Officer of Africa Young Voices (AYV) Media Empire, has been honoured by the Sierra Leone Bar Association for his commitment to promoting justice and the rule of law through responsible journalism. The award recognizes his contributions to the media landscape in Sierra Leone and his tireless efforts to make a positive impact in his community.
Under Ambassador Navo Jr.’s leadership, AYV Media Empire has become a beacon of hope for independent and quality journalism in Sierra Leone. The organization has been praised for its dedication to empowering young people and giving them a platform to share their stories, inspiring a new generation of journalists and media professionals.
This award adds to Ambassador Navo Jr.‘s list of accolades, which includes the Most Credible Africans Award, the Man of the Year Award from the Women’s Group – Sisters Choice, the Lifetime Achievement Award from National Entertainment, and the Most Influential Person of the Year in Sierra Leone, among others. He has also been recognized as one of the 10 Most Outstanding Sierra Leoneans by Chosen Generation Sierra Leone, a group of young professionals.
Ambassador Navo Jr. was among the first Sierra Leonean recipients of the Most Credible Africans Award, which acknowledges individuals who have made significant contributions to their respective fields and have built a strong reputation. This recognition highlights his achievements and his work to improve the lives of others, making him an inspiration to all Africans and a source of hope and pride.
In addition to his contributions to the media landscape in Sierra Leone, Ambassador Navo Jr. has been recognized as the “African Media Entrepreneur of the Year” by the African Achievers Awards. His investment of over 10 million US dollars in AYV Media Empire has transformed it into the largest private media investment in Sierra Leone, employing over 500 Sierra Leoneans and encompassing various media platforms, including a newspaper, printing press, film production, television stations, and a radio station. AYV Media Empire is also the only Sierra Leonean-owned television station with a media house in London.
Ambassador Anthony Navo Jr.’s dedication to promoting justice and empowering young people through responsible journalism has been acknowledged by the Sierra Leone Bar Association. His contributions to the media landscape in Sierra Leone and his commitment to making a positive impact in his community have made him a respected figure in the country and an inspiration to all Africans.
