Afrimoney continues to showcase its dominance as Sierra Leone’s leading digital finance solution with the launch of a new Agent mobile App at the New Brookfields Hotel in Freetown.
The new Afrimoney Agent Mobile App provides a digital interface for safe and seamless mobile money transactions between agents ‘super agents and subscribers across the country and beyond. Essentially, the application is another layer of comfort and reliability in Afrimoney’s quest to expand and consolidate its growing subscriber base in Sierra Leone.
In his short statement, the CEO of Africell, Shadi-Al-Gerwaji extolled Afrimoney’s innovativeness, adding that the launch of Agent App represents a significant milestone in the company’s drive to add value to its products and services.

Afrimoney’s CEO, Martiso Obeng Agyei said the Afrimoney Agent App is here to make life easy as well as shorten transaction time between parties safely and securely.
He also said the app would invariably enhance the effectiveness and profitability of agents super agents.

Products and Services Director, Richard Gboussoub whilst doing a step-by-step demonstration on the App’s usage, reemphasized the App’s rigid security features and cautioned Afrimoney agents to always keep their sign-in credentials, including their One Time Password (OTP) private after they would have downloaded the app.

The event also saw the launch of another product – ‘The Sell and Win Agent Airtime promo’. The promo which will go from the 26th to the 31st of August allows agents to sell a minimum of Nle 100 airtime with Afrimoney and get the chance to win weekly and monthly prizes.
The event was climaxed by a question and answer session and Spin and Win lottery where 5 agents won NLE 500 each. One of the winners took home a brand-new waterproof mobile phone.
