On September 26, 2024, Rise Radio 96.3 FM proudly commemorates its second anniversary of broadcasting, a significant milestone in our shared media journey. Over the past two years, we have established ourselves as a trusted source for news, community engagement, and music, making a meaningful impact on the lives of our listeners.

As the Station Manager, I have prioritized delivering content that not only informs but also empowers and inspires our audience. Rise Radio 96.3 FM has transformed into a vital platform for amplifying the voices of marginalized individuals and advocating for social justice. Our programming is designed to foster community development while serving as a beacon of hope for women, children, and young people—elements that form the backbone of our daily broadcasts.

The journey of the past two years has not been devoid of challenges; however, we have also celebrated significant achievements. We have expanded our reach through both radio and digital media, diversified our educational content to cater to a wide range of interests and demographics, and built strong partnerships with local and international organizations. The unwavering support and loyalty of our listeners and community members, many of whom have graciously participated as guest panelists, have been instrumental in our success.

Looking ahead, we envision Rise Radio as more than just a radio station. I want to reassure our esteemed partners, dedicated listeners, and guest panellists. We remain committed to our mission: to provide valuable content and to amplify the voices of all, particularly those of women, children, and young people. Our goal is to create a positive impact within our community.

“We are dedicated to being a catalyst for positive social change, a platform for diverse voices, and a beacon of hope for our community. Thank you to everyone who has been part of our journey; we invite others to join us as we continue to shape a brighter future together”,…Mariama Bah Station Manager Rise Radio 96.3 FM.
