Afrimoney Sierra Leone, on Thursday 22 February 2024, signed a partnership with MiKashBoks, at Africell SL headquarters at 1 Pivot Street, Wilberforce. Freetown.
The partnership, in the words of Afrimoney’s Managing Director, is aimed at demonstrating the high level of safety and convenience of Afrimoney mobile cash transfer at all times.
Martison Obeng -Gyei in his statement, observed that no small amount is small to save. “We are partnering with MiKashBoks not just for financial inclusion, but also for safety and convenience,” he assured. The Afrimoney Managing Director pointed out that Afrimoney has no doubt, adding that the Osusu scheme has been with Afrimoney for years, and reassured that it shall always continue to be with the network. He reiterated that the partnership is also set to digitalize the Osusu scheme, which won’t in any way fade away. He furthered that challenges do not last long; “we have never had issues that have lasted for several hours.”
Welcoming all at the signing of the partnership, the Manager, of the Corporate Sales Department, Alfred Lavallie, said MiKashBoks joins Afrimoney to enhance financial inclusion, adding that the partnership will provide a better solution.
Marketing and Communications Lead, MiKashBoks, Nafisatu Jones, described the brand as a financial group with an Osusu scheme, which was founded by Salton Masally, shortly after he dropped out of school due to financial challenges. MiKashBoks, she explained, now has over seven thousand customers since it was launched in August 2023. She referred to Afrimoney as one of the best brands in the country.
As for Customer Support, Kelvin Logan said MiKashBoks is an open channel tailored to meet customers’ needs. Corporate Affairs Director, Joe Abass Bangura, recalled that Mikashboks was unveiled in 2013, and expressed profound delight to form part of the partnership with Afrimoney.
