betPawa Sets New Records, Unveils Africa’s Top Aviator Winners with SLE 24,750,000 in Payouts

BetPawa has set a new standard in the global gaming industry, amid challenges with trust, transparency, and transformation.

This week, the largest iGaming brand in Africa celebrated in Accra to recognise the record-breaking Aviator BIG winners from Ghana, Cameroon, and Zambia.

The main event was a historic Aviator round that paid out SLE 24,750,000 (USD 1, 107,573), the largest group win in a single round on Aviator in Africa. In Africa, betPawa consistently offers the lowest minimum stakes and the highest maximum win of SLE 5,500,000 per Aviator round.

Aviator’s creators, Spribe, stated, “Our analytics confirm that this is the largest group win in a single round to date in Africa.”Clovis from Cameroon was one of the standout winners, having placed two separate micro-bets of 150 FCFA (USD 0.26) and 100 FCFA (USD 0.17), winning a total of 150,000,000 FCFA (USD 270,000). His winning multipliers of 500,000x and 750,000x are among the highest recorded on Aviator in Africa.

Cameroon’s Godi and Hyacinte were also celebrated for turning a 100 FCFA (USD 0.17) bet into 75,000,000 FCFA (USD 135,000) with a 750,000x multiplier. Jules won over 86 million FCFA (USD 155,010.60) from two identical 100 FCFA bets with a multiplier of 430,584.98x each.

Carlos followed with two 200 FCFA bets that netted him 32,748,396 FCFA (USD 58,947.12), while Mathieu turned just 125 FCFA (USD 0.22) into 14,145,592.50 FCFA (USD 25,431), demonstrating once again that small bets on betPawa can pay off big.

Prince of Kumasi, Ghana, staked GH¢6.50 (USD 0.62) and won GH¢2,000,000 (USD 193,079) with a 307,692.31 multiplier. Sidney won K3,250,000 (USD136,110) with a 500,000x multiplier after betting K6 (USD0.25) in Zambia.

While the celebration in Accra received the most attention, major winners continue to emerge across the continent like clockwork. In Uganda, a player won UGX 450,000,000 (USD 121,500) using a 2,250x multiplier. In Malawi, players have converted MWK 481 (28 cents) into more than $124,000, MWK 5,520 ($3.19), and MWK 161 (9 cents!) into $53,000, all with high multipliers and maximum wins.

This event marks yet another high point in the brand’s growing legacy. In 2023, Fuseini from Kumasi, Ghana, won SLE 11,307,600,000 (USD 500,000) on Aviator, making it the highest payout ever recorded in the game.

“This is a powerful reminder of why we do what we do,” said Torah Ndanyungu, Head of Local Marketing and Corporate Social Responsibility at betPawa.”We love big winners. We’re designed for them. We designed a platform with the lowest minimum stakes and the highest maximum win of $250,000 on Aviator in Africa, and that will not change. When our players win big, we celebrate even more.

BetPawa did more than just celebrate its winners; it gave them the VIP treatment of a lifetime. From chauffeured rides and luxury accommodations to personalised gifts and business class flights, every detail said, “You’ve made it.” But who is the true show-stopper? A one-of-a-kind private jet experience over the skies of Ghana.

However, the party was more than just glitz and glamour—betPawa is backing up the big wins with BIG support. In collaboration with Ghana’s Gaming Commission and a team of financial expert advisors, the brand is launching a financial empowerment program to assist its BIG winners in turning lucky breaks into long-term impact. From smart investments to future planning, betPawa wants its players to win for life, not just on weekends. “Big wins bring big responsibilities,” said Borah Ndanyungu, Head of Local Marketing and CSR.

“We take player safety seriously. That’s why our platform includes smart tools and education to encourage responsible gaming. We want everyone to enjoy the game while remaining in control“.
