Sierra Leone’s Vice President, Hon. Dr Mohamed Juldeh Jalloh, was invited by Senegalese President, Macky Sall, as an honorary guest to the official operationalisation of The Dakar Integrated Special Economic Zone and the inauguration of its Logistics Platform.
The event, which took place at Diamniado, marked the first of four investments and is a reminder of Sierra Leone’s Special Economic Zone (SEZ) recently launched by President Bio on April 26th this year at Koya.
The SEZ will help Sierra Leone to achieve the BIG FIVE GAME CHANGERS, such as Human Capital Development, to nurture skills for a 21st Century industry, the Youth Employment Scheme, which is a Presidential initiative to create jobs for young people and Technology and infrastructure pathways for sustained economic growth.
African Special Economic Zones are considered fundamental tools to boost economic growth, promote foreign direct investments and accelerate industrialisation across the continent.
