Mrs Juliana Sia Hawa Fallah has officially joined the Sierra Leone High Commission in the United Kingdom as Minister Plenipotentiary and Head of Chancery. Mrs Fallah, a veteran civil servant with a long and distinguished career, brings extensive experience in diplomatic representation and administrative leadership to the London Mission.
Her previous assignments included working with the African Union Mission in Addis Abeba, Ethiopia, and the Sierra Leone High Commission in Nairobi, Kenya, where she gained experience in protocol, consular affairs, and mission administration.
Colleagues anticipate that Mrs Fallah’s combination of practical diplomacy and managerial skills will strengthen the High Commission’s operations and strategic engagement with government, international partners, and the Sierra Leonean diaspora in the United Kingdom. His Excellency Dr Morie Komba Manyeh, Head of Mission, welcomed her appointment and praised her professionalism and dedication to public service, expressing confidence that her contributions would advance the Mission’s priorities.
Mrs Fallah was greeted warmly by staff members from across the High Commission. Deputy High Commissioner Mrs Yvonne King Odigboh and other team members expressed their willingness to collaborate closely with her to carry out the Mission’s mandate. With her arrival, the High Commission anticipates improved internal coordination and increased external engagement as it pursues its diplomatic, consular, and development goals in the United Kingdom.
