The highly anticipated annual “Life Transforming Encounter” conference and revival, now in its 32nd edition, kicked off on 10th September 2024, at the Living Word of Faith Outreach Ministries International (Faith Cathedral), located at 5&7 Victoria Street, Off Krootown Road, Freetown. The event will run from the 10th to the 15th of September 2024.
Over the years, Encounter has gained national and international recognition, attracting delegates from across Africa and beyond. The program has become a household name, eagerly awaited by many, and has persevered through the challenges of the Rebel War, the Ebola epidemic, and the COVID-19 pandemic. Organizers are trusting God for a transformative experience that will leave lasting testimonies to His glory.
Encounter 2024 will be held in the main auditorium of the church, but for those unable to attend in person, the sessions will be broadcast on social media platforms including YouTube, Facebook, and the church’s website, ensuring a broader reach. The evening revivals will begin at 5:30 PM daily, while the Church Growth & Leadership Conference will be held from Wednesday, 11th to Friday, 13th September, starting at 9:00 AM each day. This year’s theme is “No More Reproach.”
The grand opening and official launch of Encounter 2024 took place on Tuesday, 10th September, at 5:30 PM. Bishop Akintayo Sam-Jolly and Rev. Lady Veralina Sam-Jolly, General Overseers of Living Word of Faith Outreach Ministries International, extend an open invitation to all, emphasizing the importance of this divine gathering.
“Your presence is highly coveted, as we anticipate a mighty move of God during this transformative event,” said the overseers in their message to attendees.
Living Word of Faith Outreach Ministries International continues to preach and teach the Word of Faith, as based on Romans 10:8.
Over the years, the impact of Encounter has been felt both nationally and internationally, with delegates coming from other nations within and outside of Africa. “Encounter has become a household name and is viewed with much anticipation by the general public. It has withstood the storms of the Rebel War, Ebola and the coronavirus pandemic. We are trusting God for the move that will yield lasting testimonies to the glory of Almighty God.”
