Daniel Kanu has received his first call-up to the senior Sierra Leone national team.
The 19-year-old academy graduate, who is currently enjoying a successful loan spell with National League side Southend United, has been named in Amidu Karim’s squad for his side’s upcoming World Cup qualifiers.
Sierra Leone take on Ethiopia on Wednesday, November 15th (KO 7pm GMT) before facing Egypt on Sunday, November 19th (KO 4pm GMT).
