As the world of entrepreneurship continues to expand, the Institute of Public Administration and Management (IPAM) is gearing up to host a dynamic Entrepreneurship Week, slated to take place from Monday, May 20th to Saturday, May 25th, 2024. This week-long event is going to be more than just a series of workshops and seminars; it embodies the spirit of innovation, collaboration, and collective growth.

The festivities commence on Monday, May 20th, with a series of Masterclass sessions designed to equip aspiring entrepreneurs with the essential tools and knowledge needed to navigate the complexities of starting and sustaining a successful venture. From exploring the fundamentals of entrepreneurship to delving into strategic fundraising tactics, participants will gain invaluable insights from seasoned industry professionals. The best part? Registration for these masterclasses is completely free, ensuring accessibility for all.

Tuesday, May 21st, marks a shift towards entrepreneurial marketing strategies. Attendees will have the opportunity to dive deep into topics such as branding, packaging, retail distribution networks, and customer relationship management. With engaging discussions and practical insights on the agenda, this session promises to empower entrepreneurs with the skills needed to effectively market their products or services in today’s competitive landscape.

The excitement reaches new heights with the highly anticipated Pitch Nights scheduled for Wednesday, May 22nd, and Thursday, May 23rd.  Entrepreneurs from the University of Sierra Leone will take the stage to pitch their innovative ideas and business plans to a panel of judges and potential investors. It’s not just about securing funding; it’s about seizing the opportunity to showcase creativity, passion, and vision.

All eyes are on IPAM as the week draws to a close, and the spotlight shifts to the grand finale: an Exhibition & Fiesta extravaganza taking place on Friday, May 24th, and Saturday, May 25th, at the IPAM campus car park. Here, attendees will be treated to a vibrant showcase of entrepreneurial ventures, products, and services. From groundbreaking startups to established enterprises, the exhibition will have something extraordinary for everyone. Amidst the lively atmosphere of music, delicious food, and networking opportunities, attendees will have the chance to connect, collaborate, and celebrate the spirit of entrepreneurship.

Whether you’re an aspiring entrepreneur, a seasoned business owner, an investor, or simply curious about the world of entrepreneurship, IPAM’s Entrepreneurship Week offers something for everyone. Join us as we come together to celebrate innovation, creativity, and the boundless possibilities that lie ahead. Mark your calendars and be part of this inspiring journey towards entrepreneurial success.
